About
About Rayyan Khan
I am Rayyan Khan — an AI and machine learning engineer from Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. I build applied AI systems across speech, vision and language, and I ship them as real products.
Background
I am in the final year of a BS in Computer Science at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan, graduating in 2027 with a CGPA of 3.63 out of 4.00. Alongside my studies I work as the AI/ML Team Lead at ITSimplera Solutions, where I lead a remote team building applied AI, and I mentor interns and students getting into machine learning.
My direction is generative AI and agentic systems: retrieval-augmented generation, LLM applications with real evaluation and guardrails, and efficient computer-vision models. I care about honest numbers — every result on this site is measured on held-out data or live systems, and my project pages state their limitations plainly.
What I Do
- Machine Learning Engineering — end-to-end model development: data pipelines, training, evaluation and deployment for vision, forecasting and NLP problems.
- LLM & RAG Systems — retrieval-augmented generation with embeddings and vector search, LLM APIs, and agents with tooling, memory and guardrails.
- AI Product Development — turning models into working products: FastAPI backends, clean interfaces, and launches people can actually use.
